REACH Edmonton

Local organizations working in McCauley will be gathering Feb. 8 for the second annual Resource Connect information fair.

It will be a day of connecting with the different agencies and groups who work with and provide services to community members in the neighbourhood.

“By coming together in this shared space, we hope to build a stronger community of service, become more aware of each other and explore possibilities for increased alignment and mutual support,” said Mark Davis, McCauley Community Convener with REACH Edmonton.

Resource Connect 2019 “Designing Stronger Service Pathways Together” will take place Friday, February 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Edmonton Intercultural Centre in McCauley (9538-107Ave).

Resource Connect is an annual component of REACH’s Safer McCauley Initiative.

Edmonton organizations who serve McCauley’s population – both housed and unhoused – will promote their programs and services to each other, to the community and to potential staff and volunteers.

Fifty-two organizations are currently confirmed to highlight their programs and services via an exhibitor table with 65 expected to participate. Twenty organizations will provide a greater understanding of their programs and services with 15-minute presentations that will be recorded and made available for future use.
